When you want to exceed in your chosen field, it should be something you strive for all of the time instead of just when you feel like it. In fact you need to put yourself in the frame of mind where you do feel like it permanently. Having a positive mental attitude will reap benefits in every walk of life that you encounter, business and well as personal.

Motivation Strategy 1 – Maintain a Positive Attitude
Let’s be honest here, as we progress through our lives proportionally we are presented with about 10% situations and the other 90% is how we react to that situation. We are all accountable for our own actions, attitudes, and modifying them accordingly. When you are in the company of people or objects that generate a positive spin on life then it influences you to react to life in the same way.

Try and create your working environment to be bright and clutter free, you will find it has a positive result, both in terms of your general demeanour and your productivity.

Motivation Strategy 2 – Personal problems or worries
Everyone has personal situations or worries from time to time, but don’t bring them to work. Turn all of your attention and energy entirely to your tasks at hand. Motivation Strategy 4 – Create Clear and Positive Affirmations
The reason for writing goals for your business is the same as creating positive affirmations on paper. What your eyes see and ears hear, your mind will believe. I kid you not, just try it! After you’ve written them down, read them aloud to yourself – and do it every morning when you start work. You’ll be completely amazed at what happens. Come up with a set of new ones every month. Statements such as, “I’m an important and valuable person,” or “I know I’ll make good use of my time today.” or “I become more and more successful each and every day” Repeating them out loud everyday at a set time will help reinforce positive actions. You must do this one, try it out and you will be amazed. It will be the motivational breakthrough you have been looking for.

Motivation Strategy 5 – Break up your day
This strategy is where most entrepreneurs fail. You become so absorbed in your current project or situation you’re working on that you don’t stop to take a much needed break. Thinking that it’ll be solved in the next few seconds, and then you’ll get a cup of coffee can lead you right up to quitting time. Regularly adhering to a specified break schedule, even you’re master of your own destiny will help to relieve the tension. If you work on a computer this is even a greater problem because before you realize it – you’ve been working in that same position for hours. The best answer to this is to set yourself a reminder on your appointment calendar for every 2 hours, and let the computer reminder chime send you the alert to move around.

Motivation Strategy 6 – Track all of your successes
One of the primary things that will de-motivate you is your failure to see your own successes. Make sure that record your tasks and that you tick them off as a job well don when they are completed. This forms your physical evidence of your success and will boost your motivation to press one and complete your current project.

Motivation Strategy 7 – Keeping Fit
This is likely to be the least popular. I know that lately it seems that “exercise” is the cure-all to every physical ailment or your love life, but despite that there is some truth to it. By “exercise” I don’t mean that you should go out and join a gym and spend your lunch-time, 3-days-a-week there working out. What can really work well is to get your computer to alert you every couple of hours, get up and walk around your desk, room, or office. You could go outside for a few minutes and just take in the day; you could even just get up and do a few stretches. When you are concentrating on your work for numerous hours you can become tense and those muscles can start to knot up. Periodic stretching, even at our desk, or just getting up and walking over to the window and getting a different view can help.

There is nothing more relaxing than getting up from your desk and taking a complete mental break from what you were working on. You will find that when you come back to your task you will do so with renewed energy and vigour.

It only takes a little concentrated effort to use these teaching tools on our part to keep motivated and productive, which leads to success.

There is enormous commercial potential in your blog if you just apply the correct leverage. As I explained in my previous post there are many ways to make money using your blog which will both benefit you (this is the make money part) and your customers who will gain valuable information.

Let’s look at some more ways to make money

• Make money with Video Ads – You can embed a short video ad into your post. These can play automatically or manually. My advice here would be to make them manual. Automatic ones can be extremely annoying. You can see several examples in other post in my blog.

• Make money with Payments for Posts – You can write posts that specifically mention or review products and or services for a fee. My advice here is that you should be totally upfront and declare that you have a commercial interest, not to do so would be unethical and if you are found out then your relationship with your readers will suffer. You can find out more at  PayPerPost.com

• Make money by creating a Directory – You can simply create a directory and charge for being listed. My advice here would be to create the listing free of charge and then charge for additional services, like enhanced listings etc.

• Make money by selling adverts – You can charge for customers putting their own articles promoting a product on your blog. Once again you should make sure that they are clearly marked as an advert.

• Make money with adverts in videos – – Create a video for youtube. Not only can this be used to Market your own product but you could also charge for including a short ad at the beginning or the end of the video.

• Make money by selling classified ads – Charge a user for placing a classified ad on your blog for a set period of time.

• Make Money with Dropship Sales – Sell products from your blog that are stocked and shipped by the manufacturer. There are numerous manufacturers that do this. Here is one that you can check out www.theselect.co.uk

DON’T DO THEM!

So why did I tell you about them? They are all sound, you could make money out of all of them, so why am I telling you not to?

The answer is in fact a very simple one – I want you to succeed and if you try all of the suggestions that I have given you over the past couple of posts then I guarantee you will fail.

There are two main reasons why people fail to make money on the internet and they are
•    Failure to take action
•    Information overload.

Failure to take action speaks for itself really. You get information or a product intending to use it but never quite get around to finishing or implementing it. You don’t set yourself a goal or targets and consequently you fail.
Information overload (and this is a killer) happens all of the time. You get bombarded with offers over and over again all promising you that this is the one that will make money for you. Forget the rest this will make you millions within the month.

Of course it’s all hype, some will make money and some won’t make money. The fatal thing here is that you simply spread yourself too thinly and end up never completing anything.

There is a trend at the moment that when a product is being sold you get a mountain of extra bonuses. You think it looks great. Fantastic value for money, just look at all of those bonuses I’m going to get.
The simple truth is that you are being done a disservice. You are being overloaded with information yet again. How much time will it take you to wade through all of the products/eBooks you have just bought? The answer is ages, and by the time you have just started then something else comes along that promises you the earth which looks plausible so you must have it, and the cycle goes on. You never actually complete anything and therefore you do not make money.

If you listen to nothing else I say then please take this onboard. Don’t get sucked into information overload. If you do then you won’t get anywhere.

Stick to basic principles. Don’t try to run to fast. Choose an achievable goal k to it until it is finished.
Then and only then should you move on to the next thing.
It is essential that you have multiple revenue streams but build them slowly overtime. You simply cannot put everything in place by the end of the week.

There is no doubt that you can make money, just concentrate, do one thing at a time, and finish what you start.

After showcasing John’s products, I will endeavour to be objective in discussing his new Internet marketing digital mentorship membership product and just look at the facts.

The first thing I noted from reading his site is that John Thornhill, known on eBay as planetsms, isn’t just promoting it as another ‘make money from eBay’ type of product.
He does use his eBay id as part of his credentials as a person qualified to teach others, as well as the fact that he has authored some best selling eBooks, and is an eBay powerseller.

What he says about ‘the secret to success’ being to follow someone who is successful at internet marketing can’t be argued with, (provided they are teaching what they know and do to make money on the internet)

This monthly membership goes a lot further than just the mention of selling on eBay though.
It claims to teach exactly what John does to generate multiple streams of income from the internet marketing arena in general.

Promising to answer any marketing related questions

Further ‘undefined’ help
Offering to be flexible and help as needed with other avenues of making money online such as list building, product creation, sales page building and help with eBay listings.

And Also -
Almost Guaranteed Income.
Where he is offering to promote members products to his subscriber base, in order to help generate them some sale. (I note he does have some small print in there – only promising to promote appropriate products)
This presumably covers him against any obligation to promote poor quality or non related products?

Finally his price for membership is set at $10 per month. (this is where I believe he differentiates himself from many mentoring programs I have seen – most go for the higher end price ticket – this does seem exceptional value if he lives up to his claims)

For which he also offers a money back guarantee. (Presumably with it being a clickbank product – he will have had to offer such a guarantee) Never the less it is comforting that one can ‘Try’ him out without risk or fear of loss, knowing that if he doesn’t provide quality and value he would soon be out of pocket.

If you watched the video above you can see that the claims on the sales page are far from empty.

So that’s the sales page and claims outlined, with a few comments from myself where appropriate.
As a brand new service – time will tell if he continues to provide value…
But I can say this much -

I have had access to his first Video Newsletter and can confirm that he does go into great detail of a strategy he is currently using.
He gives details of exactly how to set it up for maximum profit, with a step by step follow along video that any new marketer could easily follow. Clear and simple and with a full explanation of where he did what he did, how to do the same etc.

He then went further than expected and showed exactly how much income and sales this strategy provided from his own business and also for comparison, a new marketer with a smaller list and less experience and no product of his own.

I do believe this will help many and was sufficient to justify the first month’s subscription without any of the other benefits quoted.

So my conclusion so far is that I genuinely believe this could be a valuable resource and it certainly looks as though planetsms digital monthly mentorship will be a keeper for me.

My recommendation would be to join and try it out. With the money back guarantee the small $10 risk is removed.
I believe new and intermediate marketers will find value and benefit in the first issue.
And surprisingly – even many of the more experienced marketers are not using this particular strategy!
So I wouldn’t rule it out assuming the low price would mean there was nothing a successful marketer couldn’t learn.

And finally here is another video from John Thornhill himself. When you watch the video you will see for yourself that when it comes to internet marketing then this is a guy that has been there, done that, and bought the tee shirt.

Do yourself a favour and start listening to what John Thornhill has to say and take action. If you do then 2009 could very well be the year that not only brings you financial freedom but also the sort of lifestyle you always dreamed of.

I’m not saying that you will be a millionaire overnight like so many of the other hyped up products do out there but you will at last be on the right road if you take this mans advice and guidance.

The profit referred to in the title is not only financial profit but also the very personal profit you can derive from your well being.

Whatever background you come from, whatever position you currently find yourself in; you can make a positive impact by investing some time in achieving your goals. We all have bright ideas from time to time but most people seldom do anything about it; quite simply, they fail to take action.

Don’t fall into this trap. You can avoid it very easily just by jotting down what goal you wish to achieve on a week by week basis.

It’s always best to set up a personal goal where you can accomplish the most in record time, maybe like mowing the lawn in an hour before the TV program that you want to watch. A correct and positive attitude in whatever you do will make things easier, and even enjoyable. We all feel so much better when we take a step back and look at what we have just accomplished and think to ourselves “I did a good job there”

There follows some ideas you may wish to consider:

Remember, you are the architect of your own destiny. The only person that can 100% take your dreams and ambitions from you is yourself by failing to take action. If you are still breathing then there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime.
